The House investigative committee has released a set of roughly 70 images secured from the holdings of former convicted sexual predator Jeffrey Epstein.

This constitutes the third disclosure from a cache of over 95,000 images the panel has secured from Epstein's holdings. It contains pictures of quotes from the novel Lolita written across a woman's body, and obscured images of female overseas passports.

This action occurs mere hours before the 19th of December due date for the Justice Department to release each documents related to its inquiry into Epstein.

"These latest photographs raise further queries about what exactly the Justice Department has in its custody," remarked the ranking member of the panel, Robert Garcia.

Contents in the Photos Made Public

Some of the photos published on this week feature Epstein speaking with professor and activist Noam Chomsky on a private jet; Bill Gates seen alongside a woman whose features is censored; Steve Bannon positioned at a workstation across from Epstein, and former Alphabet president Sergey Brin at a evening meal.

These are the latest affluent, prominent individuals to be photographed in Epstein estate photos released by the oversight panel - previously released pictures also depict US President Donald Trump and former president Bill Clinton, as well as film director Woody Allen, previous US Secretary of the Treasury Larry Summers, counsel Alan Dershowitz, Andrew Mountbatton-Windsor, and other figures.

Showing up in the images is not evidence of any misconduct, and many of the featured figures have asserted they were in no way participating in Epstein's illegal activity.

In a press release accompanying the photograph disclosure, Democratic members on the US House Oversight Committee stated the Epstein property holders did not supply background information or dates for the pictures.

"Images were chosen to offer the American people with clarity into a illustrative selection of the photos received from the property, and to give insights into Epstein's circle and his extremely disturbing behavior," the release reads.

The release also contains a number of photographs of excerpts from the Vladimir Nabokov novel Lolita written in ink across several locations of a female's body, including her chest, lower extremity, hip, and back. Lolita tells the tale of a minor who was groomed by a adult literature professor.

One passage from the novel scrawled across a female's chest reads, "Lolita's name: the point of the tongue traveling of three steps down the mouth to land, at three, on the teeth".

The release also contains a collection of photographs of female identification and official papers from states worldwide, including Lithuania, Russia, the Czech Republic, and Ukraine.

A large portion of the information on the IDs, like identities and dates of birth, is obscured but the House Oversight Committee stated in a statement that the travel documents are associated with "women whom Jeffrey Epstein and his co-conspirators were interacting with".

A further photograph features Epstein sitting at a table closely surrounded by three individuals whose faces have been obscured - one has her palm on Epstein's torso under his shirt, and another individual is bending to view a nearby device. Epstein seems to be aiding the third individual fasten a piece of jewelry.

An additional photograph released is a screenshot of text messages from an unidentified sender who states they have been supplied "several females" and are demanding "$one thousand dollars for each individual".

Photograph Disclosure Occurs Ahead of DOJ Cut-off

The panel has many thousands of images in its custody from the Epstein estate, which are "both disturbing and mundane," its announcement on this week explained.

The oversight panel first legally compelled the estate of Epstein, who died in a New York correctional facility in 2019 while awaiting trial on accusations of sex trafficking crimes, in August.

The photographs and records the Epstein estate submitted to the body are distinct from what is commonly referred to "the Epstein documents". Those are records in the justice department's control related to its own investigation into Epstein.

Pursuant to the Epstein Files Transparency Act, which the President enacted last month, the DOJ has until 19 December to disclose its records. The scope of what is found in the DOJ's documents is not publicly known, and it's likely that a large amount of the material will be heavily obscured, comparable to House Oversight Committee releases
