The Co-Creator of Call of Duty, Has Died in an LA Vehicle Accident
Vince Zampella, the mind behind the immensely successful franchise Call of Duty, has passed away in a vehicle crash in Los Angeles, California aged 55.
Zampella's death was announced by Electronic Arts, the publisher that controls Respawn Entertainment, the video game company which he helped establish.
The influential game designer died after his automobile collided and burst into flames on a motorway in the Los Angeles area on Sunday, as reported by.
"We are facing a devastating loss, and we stand with his family and friends, his loved ones, and everyone impacted by his creative vision," a spokesperson for Electronic Arts commented.
